Stuff with fabric paints
Here are the shirts I've made better using fabric paints.
Zelda-shirt (Triforce logo)
I am a fan of Zelda games and have wanted a shirt for a while. I've not seen any that would be both pretty and my size for sale, so I decided to make a shirt myself. The shirt is just a basic t-shirt from H&M, in lovely dark green. I used golden fabric paint and my template was made of a plastic film meant to be used as a cover for copied lecture materials they got at the University. Used my tiny Victorinox knife to cut the template on the plastic film. The shirt was done on 29th of November 2011.
Smaug-shirt
This one was probably strilla's idea, the year was somewhere around 2004-2006. Smaug the Golden is a dragon in The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. The very first edition of the book from 1937 has a drawing of a dragon by Tolkien on the cover. It is this drawing that we used to make the pictures on our Smaug-shirts. It was quite a lot of work to cut the shape from the transparent film we used, but the results were great. We both used red paint, but strilla's shirt was army green as I recall, while mine is blue. I also added a pair of wings on the back of my shirt.
